The Watch Plays Genesis is a progressive rock act built entirely around one mission: bringing Genesis's legendary 1970–1976 era back to life, exactly as it sounded during the band's most groundbreaking years. With their unmistakable attention to detail and a sound that authentically echoes the Peter Gabriel period, The Watch plays Genesis bring classic albums and iconic moments back to life. with eight studio albums of their own original prog rock, one of them featuring actual Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett, long before they turned their full focus to this tribute. What makes it work is its precision: five accomplished musicians recreating Trespass, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway with the same raw, electric energy Genesis had before Gabriel, and later Hackett, walked away. It's earned them a reputation as one of the finest Genesis tributes in the world, playing packed houses across Europe, the UK, and North America.
The Watch Plays Genesis brings a compelling live experience for longtime fans and anyone eager to rediscover this extraordinary musical chapter, live at Rockhal on April 11th, 2027.
