Get ready for an evening where folk intimacy meets punk urgency: Boy From Home's raw, restless rock energy collides with Laurent Unchained's French Vogue Punk — chanson elegance with a rebellious edge. Two bands, two worlds, one night of honest music and serious live energy.
Boy From Home
Alternative Folk
For fans of Frank Turner, Biffy Clyro, The Lumineers, Versus You
Boy From Home is an alternative folk band led by multidisciplinary artist Damien Giudice, rooted in folk, punk rock, and rock 'n' roll — swinging between fragile quiet moments and hardcore screams. Their debut album Houseplants (2023) explored humanity's connection to nature, while Summerrain (2024) offered a nostalgic, unfiltered reflection on identity, expanding the sound without ever standing still. Live, the band delivers immersive, high-energy shows built on singalongs, pogo dancing, stage diving, and raw charisma — creating community as much as concerts. A third album is due in spring 2027, promising their wildest fusion yet: faster, louder, and groovier. Boy From Home doesn't just perform — they ignite.
Laurent Unchained
French Vogue Punk
For fans of Les yeux d'la tête, Tryo, Georges Brassens
Laurent Unchained fuses the elegance of French chanson with the rawness of punk into their own signature sound: French Vogue Punk — honest, dynamic, and built to make you dance. Their debut album Unchained (spring 2025) delivers lyrics where everyone can find a piece of themselves, wrapped in energy, freedom, and a desire to move. Their message tackles socially critical themes with a touch of humor — because, as the band puts it, we're all part of the problem and part of the solution. Laurent Unchained doesn't just play shows; they deliver an authentic, captivating experience that hits both the body and the mind.
About Rocklab Live Sessions: The Rocklab Live Sessions are filmed showcases by local bands & artists. Their aim is to promote and document the ever-growing number and diversity of artists from the local music scene, by offering them a stage, regardless of music genre, age and experience. A selection of songs from each showcase will be released digitally later on Rocklab’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/@Rocklab), to reach a larger audience and provide the artists with a quality live video.
