The Martin Hayes Trio

An unassuming talent in the world of Irish traditional music,
Martin Hayes is equally adept at making his fiddle dance or weep. Having graced the stage of the Grand Auditorium in 2017 as part of the supergroup The Gloaming, he returns in a more intimate configuration that gives pride of place to the string instruments. One thing is certain: on this April day, sitting in the Salle de Musique de Chambre will feel every bit as pleasant as sitting at a table in a sea-sprayed pub!

The artists: Martin Hayes (fiddle); Brian Donnellan (concertina, bouzouki); Cormac McCarthy (piano)
