Chill out after work with some laughs, all kind of stories and good vibes at this free storytelling open mic night you don't want to miss!
Welcome to Luxembourg Comedy’s Storytelling Mic
Everyone has a story. The strange thing that happened on holiday. The moment everything changed. A terrible date. A family secret. A small decision that turned out to matter. A story you’ve told your friends a hundred times — but never quite like this.
On the first Wednesday of every month, Luxembourg Comedy invites storytellers to take the mic and share something that really happened to them.
Storytelling isn’t about delivering a polished stand-up routine or getting a laugh every 20 seconds. It’s about taking an audience somewhere: into a moment, an experience, a memory or a part of your life, and letting us discover what happened along the way.
The stories might be funny, moving, awkward, surprising, thought-provoking, or downright weird. Some will make you laugh. Some might make you see the world — or another person — a little differently. And because we don’t know what our storytellers are going to bring, every night is a surprise.
Come to listen. Come to tell a story. Come for both.
Rules for storytellers
The story must be yours to tell.
It should be performed aloud rather than read from a script.
It should be a story — something that takes us on a journey, with a beginning, middle and end.
You have 7 minutes to tell it.
You don't need to be a professional storyteller. You just need a story worth sharing.
