Sound walk | Sonic Realm: A Public Field-work

Sat, Nov 21, 2026 at 2:30pm

About this event

What can the sounds of Luxembourg reveal about the places we inhabit?

Join Luxembourgish sound artist and ecoacoustic researcher Sam Erpelding for a sound walk that invites you to explore the territory through listening. Equipped with microphones and headsets, participants will investigate the soundscapes of Clausen, paying attention to the interplay between natural sounds and human-made infrastructures.

Drawing on the practice of "Deep Listening", developed by composer Pauline Oliveros, this field-work offers an opportunity to sharpen our awareness of the sonic environment and explore how sound shapes our experience of space.
