Ophélie Hocquard - Claude

English

Two-time BBC New Comedy Award nominee and Paris native Ophélie makes her triumphant return with her debut solo show, Claude.

Part coming-of-age story, part cultural clash, the show follows her journey from a patriarchal French upbringing, through a feminist awakening in the UK, to the rediscovery of her Parisian roots.
With her signature deadpan delivery, Ophélie explores what it means to feel "behind" as a woman in her thirties and questions how a woman who was clearly destined to become a trophy housewife accidentally became a childfree witch who lives in a house full of crystals.
