Opening Reception: The Birth of Color by Alexandre Aldavert

Six years of skies, one evening with the artist.

Since 2020, Alexandre Aldavert has filmed the sky every single day, gathering close to 365 sequences of light and shadow. The Birth of Color brings that patience into the gallery: large format photographs printed on Hahnemühle rag paper in a 160 x 60 cm format inspired by Japanese kakemonos, alongside a video installation.

Join us on Thursday 8 October, from 18:00 to 21:00, to discover the exhibition in the presence of the artist. Alexandre will be there to talk about the work, the sequences he has accumulated, and what six years of looking up have taught him.

The exhibition runs from 24 September to 7 November 2026.

Looking forward to welcoming you
