Majestic Mozart: with Philippe Herreweghe

«Mozart came into my life quite late,»
conductor Philippe Herreweghe confided in an interview in 2019. The chemistry is all the more explosive for it! At the helm of the prestigious Orchestre des Champs-Élysées and Collegium Vocale Gent, he presents a programme entirely devoted to the composer. Following the gentle tones of his Clarinet Concerto, the maestro and his musicians perform a dazzling early work, the Coronation Mass.

The music: Wolfgang A. Mozart: Klarinettenkonzert KV 622 · Messe KV 427 (arr. H. C. Robbins Landon)
The artists: Orchestre des Champs-Élysées; Collegium Vocale Gent; Philippe Herreweghe (conductor); Regula Mühlemann (soprano); Eva Zaïcik (mezzo soprano); Werner Güra (tenor); Thomas E. Bauer (bass); Nicola Boud (clarinet)
