Books & Beats Kickoff - Season 2026/2027
Friday, 16 October 2026

● From 18:00, apero with DJ Heincha
● Frequency Friday featuring MONOMONO / IIIOIIOIIIOIIO and Faxe Kolle
● Free admission

On 16 and 17 October 2026, Books & Beats will launch, in collaboration with Rotondes, its first season at Rotondes with a two-day creative showcase dedicated to exploring the connections between literature, electronic music and collaborative
artistic practice.

Day 1: A celebration to start the season

The kickoff begins on Friday, 16 October at 18:00 with an informal apéro gathering, giving participants, artists and curious ewcomers a chance to meet, connect and discover the Books & Beats community in a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by music
from DJ Heincha.

The evening continues with a first edition of the concert series Frequency Friday / Saturday, presented in collaboration with Rotondes. The programme features women only artists: MONOMONO / IIIOIIOIIIOIIO, a Belgian electro-acoustic act known for blending experimental music, alternative pop, techno influences and immersive electronic soundscapes and the Luxembourg-based / San Francisco-bred, Faxe Kolle,
who plays a live hardware set from a slightly misremembered 1993. Her trademark sounds are crunchy synth textures, warped melodies with a nod to the early digital sounds of music imagining the future.

More than a concert, the evening is an invitation to discover the spirit of Books & Beats and meet the community behind the project.
